          Very nicely situated small chapel above the organic farm Zum Limousinhof, the history of which can be read on picture 2.
          If the picture is too small, here are a few additions to read:
          On the way through the Spessart together, a simple charcoal burner and an educated knight once talked. It was about miracles. The knight wanted to dissuade the charcoal burner from his belief in miraculous events and stabbed one of the hazel bushes that lined the path to prove it. When he withdrew the sword, to his horror it was bloody. While searching the bush, they found a picture of Our Lady with the baby Jesus in her arms.
          The knight immediately had a small chapel built at the site. The miraculous image quickly became known, so that the knight had a larger pilgrimage chapel built in the nearby town of Hessenthal, in which the miraculous image was erected. But Our Lady did not stay. Over and over again, she returned to her old place on the mountain overnight. That only changed when the Hessenthalers promised to carry the miraculous image every year on Whit Monday in a solemn procession up the mountain to the Herrbildkapelle.
          Since then, the image of the Virgin has remained in the Chapel of Mercy in the village. The Hessenthal faithful keep their vows to this day.
