WURMTAL zonder borders (Nederlands)
Oude molen (also Bardenberger molen)
The Oude Molen is one of two moles in the same location which has been recorded in a document from 867. The exact design is never known. It was made in 867 and 1899. Destijds moesten de boeren in the legal area of the Baljuwschap Wilhelmstein hun products here laten paint.
To the eeuwwisseling liep een van the Wurm afgeleide molengracht parallel to the huidige pad and drief three molenraderen aan. A large part of the long drainage sluice of the mill has been preserved, the "Untermühlengraben" under the castle structure, called the old worm. Today, a hotel and restaurant have been built in the mill

WURMTAL without borders
Old mill (also Bardenberger Mill)
The Old Mill is one of two mills that once existed at this location, which were mentioned in a document from 867. The exact year of construction is not known. It was probably in operation between 867 and 1899. The farmers of the Vogtei's domain Wilhelmstein had to have their products milled here.
Until the turn of the century, a mill ditch diverted from the Wurm ran parallel to the current path, driving three mill wheels. A large part of the mill's long drainage ditch, the "Untermühlengraben" below the Burgbusch, incorrectly called the old Wurm, has been preserved. Today, the mill houses a hotel and restaurant.
