The Bernshäuser cowl - a geological-hydrological one
Special feature:
The uniqueness of this object led to its legal protection as a nature reserve as early as 1942. The preservation and care of this karst crater lake with its surroundings
environmental features and habitats is the central protection goal. Due to the depth of the cowl, surface
and deep water are relatively stable. The inflow is low. Therefore, all precautions are
