    The "Königwinkelspring" is embedded in fields and meadows about one kilometer southwest of Ostharingen. A spring, surrounded by trees such as silver willows, linden trees, alders and chestnuts, around which an old story from the Thirty Years War is entwined, which can be seen on the existing information board (Landmark 18 - Königwinkelspring - GEOPARK Harz.Braunschweiger Land.Ostfalen) in platt - and can read in High German.
    The barbecue area is maintained by the Ostharingen volunteer fire brigade.

                A wonderful rest area with lots of seating areas, a grill and the legendary spring. An information board reveals the background.
                There is also a “Northern Harz Foreland” stamp box.
