Wine press:
The wine press is a press for the production of wine and juice. (Pressing "Calcare‘ "= trampling with the feet) the fruits were chopped, ground and then pressed. The stone is from the Keuper period and was quarried in a quarry "In der Steinkaul" in Mannebach.
Origin :
The term Keuper refers to a section of the earth's history more than 200 million years ago. Marl, sand and clay were deposited in Central Europe. Keuper means colorful in Low German.

A detour here is worthwhile. In August 2021, the restaurant and the beer garden were unfortunately only open from 5:00 p.m. and therefore not suitable for day tourists. In return, however, you could enjoy the space in the beer garden in the evening.
