In Lerchenauer Straße, at the entrance to the Olympic Park, one of Munich's last high-rise bunkers is hidden under ivy. The free-standing five-story round tower with a horizontal end was built in 1941 according to plans by the municipal building authority as air-raid shelter No. 2 and is now a listed building.
