    Coloma's rose garden is the largest in Europe. The garden has an area of 15 hectares. The rose garden is divided into 5 parts. There are 3000 different rose varieties from 25 different countries. The garden is managed by Nature and Forest of the Flemish Community.

    The seven parts of the garden are:

    The red and white rose garden: The red and white rose garden was created in 1995. It consists of white and red roses. These colors refer to the municipality and barony. Garden rooms are used in which the roses are exhibited. As a result, geometric figures are formed. The white and red roses depict the coat of arms of the Roose family. The Roose family are the former residents of Coloma Castle.
    The Flemish rose garden: The Flemish rose garden dates from 1996. This part of the rose garden contains the roses of 40 Flemish rose breeders. The best known of these is Louis Lens. Remarkable about this garden is that there is a gazebo in the center. This is covered with a mantle of lime trees.
    The Old Rose Garden: The Old Rose Garden was first opened in 2000. It depicts a chronological evolution of the rose. There are 710 different types of roses available. These different roses were created and bred before 1950. What is remarkable about this garden is that there are resistant roses in the center. These roses, of more recent date, do not require much maintenance to survive. They are very resistant to diseases and damage.
    The International Rose Garden: The International Rose Garden first became public in 2000. It is the largest rose garden of the seven. The roses in this garden come from different countries around the world. Here too, the roses are grouped in garden rooms per country.
    The standard rose garden: This rose garden contains standard roses. These were planted in the spring of 2004. No fewer than 300 to 400 standard roses are grouped together. They stand along the path that leads to the entrance of the Rose Museum. This Rose Museum gives a look at the collection of roses in Coloma.
    The Japanese Rose Garden: The Japanese Rose Garden was opened in 2009. This rose garden contains roses of Japanese origin. The surface of the roses is a hemisphere with rays. This refers to the 'land of the rising sun'.
    The Chinese Rose Garden: The Chinese Rose Garden opened in 2012.
