Interestingly designed old railway bridge with colorful graffiti over the route of the former Heidekrautbahn. Not only when you drive over it, but especially when you go down to the tracks (on which no train runs) there are lots of photo opportunities. Above it leads the Barnim Dörferweg with cobblestone pavement matching the name.

The so-called Heidekrautbahn (RB27) has connected Berlin with the communities in today's Barnim and Oberhavel districts since 1901. Its name illustrates its importance as an excursion line for city dwellers. It is also used by thousands of commuters every day.

The RB27 line currently runs from Berlin-Karow to Groß Schönebeck/ Schmachtenhagen. Since 2011, additional trips to Berlin Gesundbrunnen have also been offered. Originally, however, the Heidekrautbahn started in Berlin-Wilhelmsruh. This part of the route was cut off when the Wall was built. A direct connection to downtown Berlin, as it used to be, is used by tens of thousands of people in the growing commuter belt and in the north of Berlin with the Märkisches Viertel.
