The Poop Hemeltje is a place near Deurze in the Dutch province of Drenthe where there may be remnants of an old entrenchment by Bommen Berend or where a garden shed of the Vredeveld estate may have once stood.

At the Deurzerdiep lie the remains of an old fortification that was supposedly built by the bishop of Münster, Bernhard von Galen (better known as "Bommen Berend"). The fortification was supposedly built in 1672 during the siege of the city of Groningen. Even after the siege, the fortification was supposedly used as a shelter for itinerant workers.

The sconce of Van Galen, or Poephemeltje, is a square redoubt (a sconce with protruding corners) from 1672. The sconce is named after the Munster bishop Berend van Galen (Bommen Berend), who his troops during the siege of Groningen of 18 on 19 July of that year overnight at Amelte on the banks of the Deurzer Diep. The nickname Poephemeltje is said to be due to the German migrant workers ("Poep") who spent the night here in the 18th and 19th centuries. The ramp was restored in 1985.
