    This is where you can get in and out of the Weberschluechte. The path is very nice to walk, but equipped with felled trees / dead wood at the beginning. This makes hiking a little more difficult and requires some climbing skills to overcome or avoid these obstacles. But it is possible to relax, even alone.

        The access to the Weberschlüchten is well signposted. The path is a dead end (for hikers, as there are various climbing routes) to the Webergrotte. Despite the lack of spruce trees, the path is impressive due to the gigantic rock walls on both sides. Yes, the path is quite wide and sandy, but I still think it is easy to walk.

          The Weberschlüchte may have once been a beautiful path, but now that is no longer particularly true. The lower area suffered a lot visually due to the bark beetle. The path itself is unsightly and sandy due to the clean-up work, so that your foot gives way with every step, like on a beach. In the upper area of the ravines you still have to cross tree corpses until you finally reach the Webergrotte. It is only around the Webergrotte that the atomic sphere, which is otherwise so typical of Saxon Switzerland, can be found.

            This is a very nice way to the Weber grotto. In the dark ground there is a basement climate so it is not so warm even in summer when you walk along there. It's a dead end, but the rocky world is fascinating.
