If you follow Grønhøj Strandvey, you can continue driving right on the beach. The sand is very stuck near the waterline. In the high season you have to watch out for beach kiters, cars and dogs running freely. Many holidaymakers prefer to drive their car directly to the water.

Grønhøj Strand is an extension of Saltum Strand and Blokhus Strand, all of which are among Northern Europe's best bathing beaches and stretch for miles with fine, white sand and higher dunes along the North Sea coast.
