Nordborg Church is a medieval church that was built around 1250. The south chapel with frescoes dates from 1500. The north chapel was built in 1686 and rebuilt in 1785. In 1789 the tower was added to the south chapel. The vestibule, sacristy and stair tower are built in 1881-82.

The Duke of Nordborg Castle built a chapel in 1700 at the eastern end of the church. Today the dukes and their families are lying in the coffins in the room behind the altar. If the wooden door is closed, you are welcome to open it so that you can see the coffins through a lattice door and on the wooden door you will find an overview of who is in which coffin.

The pulpit from 1626 is the work of Jørgen Ringnis. The crucifix of the choir arch dates from 1500. The altar is from 1655 and probably comes from Flensburg.
The church is usually open during the times mentioned or by appointment.
