The Hof Zoo is located on the edge of the Theresienstein city park and is not just a zoo. There are i.a. a natural history garden with native flora, a geological garden with 80 types of rock and mineral, and in an earth house you can see the grass growing from below from the perspective of a mole. In the attractive zoo you can see around one hundred species of animals from all continents, many of the enclosures are designed to be accessible so that direct contact with the animals is possible.
