Whether you appreciate the Art Deco architectural style or find it 'utterly ugly'... no one can deny that the building is impressive. It rises from the landscape like a cathedral. With an impressive history and an even more impressive interior, it is definitely worth a visit.

A surreal environment. In the middle of "Nothing" you will find the former radio station "Radio Kootwijk". This formerly served the communication of the Kingdom of the Netherlands to the Dutch colonies in East India (now Indonesia). Talks were conducted with the help of long-wave technology.
