The Duderstadt market street is unusually wide for a medieval town.
The two Gothic town churches rise at the respective ends and the town hall is located in the middle between them.
In the south of Marktstrasse are half-timbered houses from the Gothic, Renaissance and Baroque periods. After the reconstruction of the houses that burned down in 1852, the north is characterized by architecturally simple and uniform half-timbered buildings.

Surprisingly wide and long and there are endless half-timbered houses. The usual shops with the usual pedestrian stoppers that make the whole thing look a bit cheap.
Churches at both ends of the street, the town hall in the middle... Very beautiful with a few minor drawbacks!
