The eye-catcher of the Adventure Trail in Linter is the suspension bridge over the Grote Gete, the Golden Geet. This wobbly bridge serves as the gateway to the heart of the nature reserve.
The Golden Geet, with a span of 15.5 meters, consists of a classic cable-suspended bridge. To give the whole thing a more adventurous feel, the walkway was constructed in mutually hinged sections, which are in turn stabilized with cables arranged in an antiparabolic fashion relative to the suspension cables.
