The Baion - Elio Boni refuge is located in the Baion - Col de San Piero locality, on the southern slope of the Marmarole, at about 1800 m above sea level, in the municipal area of Domegge di Cadore.
The building, built in 1892 as a malga for the montage of livestock, was renovated in the late 1960s and transformed into a shelter. It offers a panoramic view of the Centro Cadore Dolomites, the Spalti di Toro and the Cridola.
