Ebeltoft is a small Danish town with 7430 inhabitants. It is located on the Jutland peninsula of Djursland on the Ebeltoft Vig, a bay of the Kattegat, and belongs to the municipality of Syddjurs. The town lives on the one hand from its yacht and fishing port, and on the other hand from tourism. This is favored by the idyllic flair of the historic old town from the 14th century and the proximity to holiday home areas such as Ahl Strand, Øer Maritime Ferieby (a small yacht harbor with adjoining holiday homes), Handrup, Lyngsbæk and Egsmark Strand as well as three large campsites in Krakær, Vibæk Strand and the nearby town of Dråby.

The harbor consists of two basins, one with moorings for visitors and a small, charming fishing harbor with a typical harbor atmosphere.

The harbor is particularly idyllically located in the natural landscape of the "Mols Bjerge" national park, in the middle of Ebeltoft, so to speak. The harbor image is dominated by the frigate "Jylland", which is in dry dock close to the harbor. The old trading town offers many attractions that can be reached on foot from the harbor - particularly worth mentioning are the old town hall, Farvergården (the former royal dyeworks) and the glass museum.

On the harbor grounds you can buy fresh and smoked fish, visit the harbor cafés and restaurants, explore galleries and working glass workshops and visit small specialty shops or watch the sunset from the pier.

The marina has a concrete pier for larger vessels up to 45m long, 10m wide and 4.5m draft. The western pier is reserved for guests and has space for larger boats up to 50 feet, 4.5m width and 3m draft. In addition, there are two floating bridges in the eastern part of the harbor.

The Ebeltoft marina is surrounded by red wooden houses, built in the same style as the red warehouses at Skagen harbor. This creates a very special atmosphere.
