The Piazza Grande with its arcades is one of the largest and most famous city squares in Switzerland. The pulsating meeting place of Locarno. Stroll under the famous arcades, enjoy a coffee or lunch while shopping and have a varied day!

This meeting place and the pulsating heart of the city is where business and cultural life takes place; the weekly market on Thursday, the Moon & Stars concerts in July and the evening film screenings during the film festival in August.

The weekly market is on Thursdays from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.
