About the gastronomic quality of the "old press house" I can not say anything. But the quaint building itself is well worth a visit, and it's essential to plan this place on the next Alsheim hiking route. A tree grows in the middle of the roof. Depending on the weather and the season, the building looks "rustic", "wild-romantic" to "scary". A hike with children can be a great excitement when it comes to passing this "witch house". ;-)

I had a vegan tarte flambée – very good and at a very fair price. My fellow hikers' salmon tarte flambée and currywurst also looked great! The beer garden is beautifully designed – a band was just setting up their equipment inside – apparently, there's regular live music here on the weekends.
