The Heinz-Sielmann-Höhenweg is a 8.5 km long path that starts right at the entrance to the car park of Gut Herbigshagen, the nature experience center of the Heinz Sielmann Foundation. It is located in the so-called "Green Belt", a series of nature reserves and biotopes that lie along the former inner German border. The Heinz-Sielmann-Höhenweg offers itself as a walk after the visit of Gut Herbigshagen and leads in several places on former Kolonnenweg with its characteristic perforated bricks.
