Fanø Art Museum (Danish: Fanø Art Museum) is located in the center of the village of Sønderho on the Danish North Sea island of Fanø. The exhibition building was financed by Alice og Tage Sørensens Fund and opened in 1992.

The museum collects, researches and mediates art whose creators have not only motifs but above all biographical relationships with the island of Fanø.

For me it's always worth a visit. On the ground floor there are numerous pictures by artists who once worked on the island, who have captured the life of the island's population in oil. In the attic and in the extension there are changing exhibitions that can have the theme of modern art as well as book illustrations or comics.

The museum closes for the winter in mid/late October. Check online for opening times!
