A worthwhile excursion to the wonderfully blue reservoir at around 2,030 meters above sea level. Some very steep climbs from St. Anton: better accessible by e-bike. :)

The water color is a dream, in both directions of the way there is a hut. The path on the lake is partly good steep. And be amazed, there is FreeWifi at the dam barrier in 2018-7.

The Kartellsee offers untouched nature, which invites you to take relaxing hikes and leisurely bike rides. Although the reservoir is not open for swimming, it attracts visitors with its idyllic riverside paths and breathtaking views. From here, the Darmstädter Hütte is not far away.
