Basically, this highlight, justified by Bassrocka, is not a real highlight.
But
we are here on the "inside" of the Leda-Jümme area. This is an interesting route that works as follows:
The start can be the Jümmefähre at Amdorf, or the bridge at Amdorf. Then follow Leda and do NOT turn off at Barger Straße at Dreyschlotbrücke towards Barßel, but stay on the inside, i.e. to the right of Leda, which in this case means Leda is on the left. On the right of the Leda because it is thinking in the direction of flow.
So we follow the Dreyschlot, which as a canal represents the connection between Leda and Jümme and soon come to the Jümme.
Now the direction changes first to north, then west. We drive as the Jümme on the left (the Jümme is on our right) first past Detern, then past Stickhausen.
There is a beautiful church and a stork's nest in Detern.
In Stickhausen we find the Stickhausen Castle as a highlight.
In Neuburg you can make a short detour to visit the church there.
Shortly before the Jümme ferry, the path continues to the left in the direction of Amdorf. But you can also drive a few hundred meters along the grass path behind the gate to the ferry, which is not super comfortable, but also not really demanding.
In any case, you come back to the starting point and the tour is complete.
