Burg Feuerstein Airfield is a Bavarian commercial airfield near Ebermannstadt. It is licensed for motor aircraft, motor gliders, gliders, and ultralight aircraft up to 2000 kg (PPR 5700 kg), as well as balloons and helicopters up to 5700 kg.
The airfield is located at an elevation of 510 meters and is one of the most beautiful and popular airfields in Germany. It features a nearly 1000-meter-long asphalt runway, an approximately 650-meter-long grass runway, and paved taxiways. It's beautiful to watch the number of gliders and ultralight aircraft being pulled into the air on a cloudless day.

The restaurant at the airport is highly recommended! Since April 1, 2020, there's a new tenant with a small but fine menu 🍕🥗🍰☕. The pizza is especially delicious 😋.
