The impressive Nankendorfer Mühle is located directly on the Wiesent and was first mentioned in 1539. This means that she can look back on a long and eventful history, which unfortunately also includes a roof truss fire in the early 19th century. It has been used to generate electricity since 2004. The 400-year-old mill in Nankendorf is located directly on the Wiesent and has been owned by the Sebald family since about the 16th century. Impressive on the corner of the house are the markings of the highest flood levels, which have visited the mill in the course of their existence. Worth seeing is also attached to the mill water wheel, which generates electrical energy and fed into the power grid.
