There are currently 3 different puzzle tours for children in Ratibor Castle.
- Johann is looking for Toto,
- George and William,
and a family puzzle for a special exhibition.

We did "Johann sucht Toto" and it was really nice and not boring at all. The children are loaned a detective's bag with useful utensils and a map of the castle. The puzzles are varied and easy to solve. The staff are very friendly and helpful.
There's also a reward at the end.

We will definitely come back and do the other puzzle as well.

The puzzle tour is included in the entrance fee.
Children up to 10 years are free, reduced 1.-€ and adults cost 3.-€

In 1942, the castle was handed over to the city of Roth as a gift. It has been widely used ever since. In the former royal stables, the city library and the boardroom of the city council are housed, on the second floor of the wing spanning the courtyard the city museum and in part of the ground floor the municipal tourist information. The main building houses the city archives. In summer, the courtyard is used for the performance of the Schlosshofspiele. (Wikipedia)

The Ratibor Castle with its imposing state hall, the idyllic inner courtyard, the romantic castle garden and the impressive castle moat is definitely worth a visit. Guided tours through the castle are offered every 1st Sunday of the month at 2 p.m. and as a combination city-castle tour from June to September every Wednesday also at 2 p.m.
Registration and ticket booking is possible via stadt-roth.de/fuehrungen, by calling 09171/848-513 or tourismus@stadt-roth.de.

Opening hours:
March to November
Tuesday to Sunday and public holidays (except Good Friday) : 10am to 5pm
Group tours are possible at any time by prior arrangement.
