The parking lot for the hiking trail goes off road 78 with a Hariland sign. Direction Köruse and riding stables. Initially paved, then about 6 km worst gravel road to the parking lot. In the east of the parking lot there is a beautiful bathing beach - in the west there are jellyfish in the sea. The hiking trail is often in deep sand, as many people walk the trail or cycle to the lighthouse (bike rental in summer at the parking lot). Since this path is very strenuous to walk, people switch to the more solid environment (on foot and by bike). There sand pioneer plants are to begin to consolidate the ground. These places are destroyed, the path becomes wider and more sandy. So this nature reserve is ruined by people visiting it. As in Soomaa NP, the national park administration should build boardwalks at these points in order to protect nature and regulate people's paths!
The hike is otherwise varied and exciting. Depending on the season, more or less birds can be observed.
