          The Gömnitzer Berg (also "Gömnitzberg") is a 93.80 meter high elevation near the village of Gömnitz in the district of Ostholstein (municipality of Süsel) in Schleswig-Holstein.

          Geologically, it is an ice-age terminal moraine of the Baltic ridge typical of Holstein Switzerland.

          The Gömnitzer Berg is the third highest elevation in the district of Ostholstein after the Bungsberg and the Weiberberg. Like this, it grants a wide view of the surrounding landscape of Holstein Switzerland and the Bay of Lübeck. On the top of the Gömnitzer Berg is the Gömnitzer Turm, a former sea mark that was built to replace a tree struck by lightning, which served as a landmark for the sailors. The marking of the highest point of the Gömnitz mountain is a few meters next to the Gömnitz tower. There is a transmission mast a short distance from the Gömnitz tower.

              The Gömnitzer Turm is a former sea mark on the top of the 93.80 m high Gömnitzer Berg near the village of Gömnitz in the district of Ostholstein in Schleswig-Holstein. From the Gömitzer Tower, four small openings offer a view of the surrounding landscape of Holstein Switzerland and over the Bay of Lübeck.
              It is a round column, about 12 m high, made of 20,000 bricks on a fieldstone foundation, with a diameter of about 2 m. The top of the tower is covered with hewn natural stones. Below the top of the tower there are four small openings - two opposite oval openings and two windows. The tower is accessible via an entrance, inside a 41-step spiral staircase leads to the top.
