Great castle with impressive architecture dating back to the 11th century. The castle is regularly used for wedding fairs, exhibitions and events. Schönfeld Castle is an impressive building and a real insider tip when you have seen enough of Moritzburg Castle. Originally it was a moated castle from the 13th century, but after a long renovation it is now a hostel for pilgrims. The dome tower is particularly interesting.
