    The memorial is a 'bit' misleading by way of location, as it was moved by the National Trust some years ago. It used to be a good few hundred metres further over the hill. The erosion to the memorial by visitors was quite extensive, so they moved the plinth next to the path to ease the erosion problem.

      This somber spot is where Tommy Jones body was found back in 1900. He was found 29 days after he went missing, 1300 ft away from where he went missing; up a steep climb. The obelisk marks this spot and remembers this tragic story.

              The walk down from Pen y Fan or Corn Ddu, depending on the route you choose, is grueling but worth it. This peaceful little lake, only accessible by hike, is almost eerily serene and allows for the perfect rest stop when hiking in the Brecon Beacons. Oh, and legend has it it's a doorway to a magical land full of fairies...

              The hike down to the lake gets super slippery when wet, though the shore of the Llyn Cwm Llwch remains solid in any weather.
