At the Saflischpass you sometimes have the feeling of being on another planet, so unusual are the mountains there. Very long hike, we have so far enjoyed the ascent of Heiligkreuz: longer, not too steep ascent, and much shorter descent to Rosswald. From there you can go back by gondola, bus and train.
