    Today the castle and the park is a popular place for conferences, wedding celebrations and you can also book beautiful rooms for a short break here. The restaurant is only open to house guests, but you can strengthen yourself and take a short break in the charming courtyard café.       The castle was built from a mansion built in 1743 at the latest, which was extended in a historicizing style between 1875 and 1906. The former baroque garden was designed as a landscaped park in the 19th century, based on designs by Peter Joseph Lenné. Theodor Fontane described the castle in the volume "Five Castles" of the hikes through the Mark Brandenburg as "epoch-making for the cultural history of the Mark".

          Schloss und Gut Liebenberg visited Fontane in 1880 several times. His landlord, Philipp Graf zu Eulenburg, and the rich Liebenberg archive were valuable sources of information for Fontane.                     Former estate with manor house, the origins of which date back to the 16th century. The noble family von Bredow expanded Liebenberg into a manor.                                     In summer 2024 there will be three open-air cinemas in the castle park and on the castle grounds:
                                    June 8th, 2024, 9:30 p.m.: A Star is Born

                                    Admission costs 9 euros.

                                    On July 6th, 2024, the Havelländer Puppenbühe will be visiting. Performances at 11 a.m. and 3 p.m., for children up to 10 years old, admission free, no registration necessary.

                                    On June 9th, 2024 from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m., the Brandenburg Country Party will take place at Liebenberg Castle & Estate, with workshops, forest and herb tours and a varied program for young and old. Admission is free, registration is not necessary.

                                    From May 5th to October 27th, 2024, the "Café im Lindenhaus" in the castle park offers the opportunity to have brunch from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. and to enjoy coffee and cake from 2:30 p.m. to 5 p.m. Delicious delicacies from the castle kitchen are served. The Café im Lindenhaus asks for a reservation at schloss-liebenberg.de.

                                    And once a month, on May 5th, June 2nd, July 7th and August 4th, 2024, the DKB STIFTUNG Museum offers a free guided tour of the estate grounds at 2 p.m. on the 800-year history of Liebenberg.

                                    The meeting point is the Kaiserbrunnen in the castle courtyard. Registration is not necessary.
