Nature as accommodation - this is the slogan on the website of the Strotzbüscher mill. The Strotzbüscher Mühle and the associated Naturcampingplatz live up to this slogan. On the one hand with the location in the Siebenbachtal in the volcanic Eifel. Forests of lava formations and volcanic lakes and the location of the nature camp on the banks of the river Ueßbach emphasize the feeling of being in the wilderness. A wild weekend, a sculpting class, the mushroom week, and recommended or guided walks will teach and teach many aspects of wildlife life. Power generation from hydropower, exclusive heating with wood and wastewater treatment in a sewage treatment plant are other inspiring and educational topics that are worth spending a few days in the Strotbüscher mill and the wilderness to be a little closer.

The whole valley is a true adventure playground for children but if needed there is a playhouse, a tree house, a swing and a sandbox. In July and August, there are varied and individual breakfast, lunch and dinner menus at the hostel. Very nice campsite in the valley right on the river.
Nice operator couple. Sanitary facilities clean, showers rustic. Firewood go money available on site.
No allocated tent sites, fire pits possible everywhere. Highly recommended is the natural campsite, which can be reached either over a bridge or by hiking along the river. Here absolute peace and no mobile homes or similar.
Good way to start hiking directly from the square.
Shops (Edeka, Norma, beverage shops) in about 3-4km.
