The route along the coast requires sturdy shoes! Walking boots.
The path leads over a narrow path - lava rock up and down.
Cell phone reception is not possible.
It would be better to run the route the other way round, as fitness for the coastal route is still good.

Be sure to visit this old volcano (Burnt Mountain), although it is a few meters in altitude, it is definitely worth it.
Great view and you can also walk around the volcano on the rim of the crater!
