Since El Golfo is on the edge of the national park, you also have a great view of the volcanic craters. A trip to El Golfo is therefore very worthwhile.

Highly recommended location. From the parking lot you can very nicely explore between the rocks on small paths, the various lava formations. Impressive view to the volcano over the so-called "sea of lava" which extends over kilometers.

El Golfo is a small coastal town in the southwest of Lanzarote. It belongs to the municipality of Yaiza, has 172 inhabitants (2011) and is popular with tourists because of its fish restaurants.
