A viewing tower was built on the summit of the Nützenberg in 1898 on the initiative of the manufacturer and city councilor Emil Weyerbusch.

The Weyerbusch Tower is built from greywacke and is around 25m high. 119 steps lead to the tower room and a further 18 steps to the viewing platform, which is 17 meters high. However, the citizens have little benefit from this because the Weyerbusch Tower has been closed for years.

Opposite the Weyerbusch tower is the park keeper's house, Haus Weyerbusch, from the same time the tower was built. There is a playground around the Weyerbusch Tower, where a summer festival takes place once a year. The city of Wuppertal's natural high ropes course is also located here, but is only open to groups and only after prior registration.
