This monument commemorates the young soldier Pierre Roisseux who died here on December 25, 1944. “I was there 20 years ago and I was young and happy for the reason why I was there for the service. Accordez lue une pieuse pensée. Ses parents.” Pierre was part of the Sixth Fusilier Battalion attached to the VIIth Corps of the First American Army.
The monument is located on Belgian territory in Gemmenich, near the Three-Country Point.

Pierre Roiseux was a war volunteer, who stepped here on 25.12.1944 at the Battle of the Bulge on a mine and died. In French is read: "He was 20 years old and gave his youth and his life for the cause that he wanted to serve, commemorating him in awe, his parents"
