The lush Neuhaus Wildlife Park is home to exclusively native wild animals in spacious enclosures with ample places to roam. In the beech forest and on the pastures, you can observe red deer, wolves, lynx, wild cats, wild boars, and many other animals. In addition to an information center about the animals and nature of the Solling, the Rotwild Café-Bistro is located at the entrance.

We visited Neuhaus Wildlife Park at the end of October and were absolutely thrilled! We saw almost all the animals, even the often shyer ones like lynx, otters, wild cats, wolves, raccoons, and many more. What struck us as particularly positive was that all the animals displayed a very relaxed, natural demeanor. The walk through the park is a pleasant stroll, including the fallow deer enclosure. We were completely captivated by the falconer's infectious enthusiasm for her work and her birds. There are two "shows" a day, both very informative and impressive! It's definitely worth seeing both, as they probably show different birds to avoid stressing the animals too much. At the end of the day, the cappuccino in the café was also delicious—what more could you want?! We'll be back!

Very nice zoo with large enclosures. There is an air show 2 times a day.

Great for children, even if it could take longer. There is a nice playground right at the beginning :-)

The wildlife park is very extensive and you can walk through large enclosures of various even-toed ungulates. You can also watch the lynx, wild cats and wolves, which are also native to the Solling, up close. The excellent falconry flight show is not to be missed! Interesting facts, a beautiful playground, goats to pet and a bistro round off the offerings.

We visited it, but with mixed feelings. We were fascinated by the howling wolves, the collection of antlers was impressive, and the goats certainly have it good. However, the caged wild animals remain, and the large bird species in particular don't get their money's worth. An adventure center that, like the ant station initially, limits itself to fairer observation conditions? That's what we hope for in the future.
