From one of the highest points of the Solling you can enjoy a wonderful view over the forests of the Hochsolling. The tower stands at a height of 510 meters on the edge of the Moosberg summit. Especially in the evening, when the sun sets behind the Köterberg in the west, a visit to this very impressive, 33 meter high wooden tower is worthwhile.

After climbing the 178 steps, the Hochsolling Tower offers a beautiful 80% panoramic view. 😁 Only the Moosberg is higher.

The tower dates from 1991 and was built by the city of Holzminden. The construction work itself was carried out by a company specializing in timber tower construction from the Odenwald (source: information board on the tower)
