The city museum is located in the former Augustinian hermitage. The church tower, parts of the east wing with a late Gothic chapel, remains of the west wing and the cloister are still preserved from the original Gothic complex.

The city museum in the historic old town is located in the former Augustinian monastery.
As part of the museum tour, the remaining parts of the monastery can be viewed and the tower of the former monastery church can be climbed.
From there you have an interesting view of the historic town center of Bad Langensalza and the preserved monastery complex.
The inner courtyard with remains of the cloister and west wing as well as modern art objects is also used for annual events.
