From here you can admire the Semois which flows 70 meters below. Legend has it that a village farmer, who had sold his cattle at the Bouillon market, had spent all the money on alcohol. Not daring to admit it to his wife, he hanged himself on this rock.

Still a nice location to dangle from a rope... But he won't have seen much anymore... So enjoy the view yourself...

From this location you have a beautiful view over the valley of the Semois.
A rock with a legend:
The view of Rocher du Pendu downstream of the river is the property of Cordemois where in 1935 the Notre-Dame de Clairefontaine Abbey was built. On the left bank is the forest of Broco and on the right bank, a meadow separates the abbey from the Semois. To the right upstream along the river is the Halliru campsite, which can be reached on foot from Bouillon via the Ladmirant trail. Rocher du Rocher is accessible via the GR 14 Corbion.
