On top of the sandy summit of the Löwendorfer Berg stands a 22 meter high, wooden lookout tower. As you climb up the wooden steps, a fantastic view of the surrounding landscape awaits you at the top of the platform.

The lookout tower has been in the Trebbin district of Löwendorf since 2012. From the 21.7 m high tower on the Löwendorfer Berg (103 m) you have a wonderful view of the surrounding landscape, as far as the federal capital Berlin and the state capital Potsdam.

The European long-distance hiking trail E 10 and the 66-lake hiking trail around Berlin lead in our region from Trebbin in the direction of Blankensee. If you follow the blue markings in Löwendorf, after a short, rather steep climb up the Löwendorfer Berg, you will reach the new lookout tower. Here you can catch your breath at the rest area, which is also new, and then climb the tower. At the top, small signs show visitors the direction and distance to the surrounding towns and even to our twin town of Weil am Rhein. A summit book is available in a summit box, where impressions and tips can be entered.

If the visitor wants to explore the region further, after descending from the Löwendorfer Berg he gets to the idyllic Priedeltal and then to the district of Blankensee, where other worthwhile destinations await. A visit will be worth it in any case.
