    There were probably two predecessors to the current church. One was built of wood around 1200, and the next church stood on fieldstone foundations. This was revealed by excavations in 1997 and 2004. The present church dates back to the 13th or 14th century.
    The mausoleum is located on the west side of the church. The mausoleum was built between 1856 and 1857 in the Tudor Gothic style. It was the burial site of the von Arnim-Criewen family, and nine coffins were located here.

                      The church dates back to the 13th or 14th century, with a previous wooden church presumably dating from around 1200 and another on fieldstone foundations, as excavations in 1997 and 2004 revealed. The present church burned down during the Thirty Years' War and was rebuilt from 1682 to 1692.
