The Lütter is a nearly 18 km long river in the Rhön. It rises below the horse's head, flows through the Guckaisee and flows into the Fulda.

The Lütter rises in the Rhön (Hohe Rhön).
The strongest source of its three exit points is located within the Hessischer Rhön Nature Park and the Rhön Biosphere Reserve on the southwest flank of the Wasserkuppe or on the southeast slope of its southwestern foothills, the Pferdskopf (874.9 m above sea level) at an altitude of 769.5 m.
The Lütter flows through the Guckaisee, which lies between Pferdskopf in the north and Eubeberg (814.4 m above sea level) in the south, just below its source, the “Lütterquelle”. It then flows west through Poppenhausen and later south past Weyhers (district of Ebersburg), after which it leaves the nature park and biosphere reserve.

From the trail, turn left, over a pasture, and another in the forest, then descend a few steps to the left to rest on a bench by the stone source. a magical peaceful place!
