    The Heinrich-Kocher-Stollen near Wölsendorf i. d. Upper Palatinate was a smaller Flussspatbergwerk and as a mine pit from 1937 to 1953 in operation.
    The pit was named after the since 1923 employed by the then Rüttgerswerke plant manager of the Flußspatgrube Marienschacht, which went into operation in 1896.
    In 1927, the union Wölsendorf was founded and the Marienschacht - to the aforementioned Heinrich-Kocher-Stollen was always counted as part of the business - is taken over by the company Riedel de Haen and ordered Heinrich Kocher as mine director.
    The Kocherstollen with a length of 300m opened a Flußspatgang with a thickness between 0.80 and 1.50 meters. Over a crosscut of 150m length and a Bremsberg the 30m sole was unlocked.

            Unfortunately, old pictures and written stories can only give an idea of the effort that was put into finding and then dismantling the fluorspar veins in the Wölsendorf district.
            The small mine "Kocherstollen" had a horizontal tunnel entrance and was opened in 1932. The tunnel was brought up to a mineable fluorspar vein.
            According to the historical records, this named dike was 0.8 to 1.5 m wide and trended southwest.
            The Kocher tunnel was operated until 1952 and then shut down and has fallen into disrepair.
            In the 90 years it became a visitor's mine thanks to a lot of commitment and effort by the Marienschacht mining association.
            Due to a collapse of the tunnel ceiling just behind the tunnel mouth, the visitor mine had to be closed forever a few years later and was completely sealed.
