Chapel dedicated to Saint Anne and elaborated in traditional brick and sandstone style, going up to about 1700 when the characteristic, late baroque facade was created. The chapel was probably expanded around 1782. The most recent restoration campaign dates from 2001-2008.
The chapel is located on a triangular grassy square, on the corner of Bollestraat and Nieuwelaan, which was partially re-enclosed during the most recent restoration. The chapel is preceded by a cobbled forecourt and surrounded by a cobbled path.

According to a legend, a wooden statue was found in a wood shed on the 't Hof farm in Veylst. This is what Mara's mother represented: Saint Anna. She carried Mary on her arm, who in turn carried Jesus. The statue was first placed in several wooden chapels, but eventually a stone chapel was added in 1639. This would be linked to the plague epidemic from which many people in the region had been spared. (and attributed to this statue).
