This lookout tower is in close proximity to the Markgrafensteinen. The tower is 45 meters high and offers you a fantastic view of the Scharmutzelsee, the Rauener mountains and even as far as Berlin when visibility is good.

Access is secured by a turnstile and entry costs 1 euro per person. IMPORTANT: The machine only accepts 1 euro pieces and 50 cent pieces.

Steel observation tower with a height of 45 meters. Up to the viewing platform there are 209 steps. From there you can not only see the Scharmützelsee, but in good weather also the Berlin TV tower. The entrance fee is only one euro and is open all year round.

Great view, but not for people with vertigo! Only grid as ground, so you can look through to the bottom! Could be problematic for people with vertigo. The tower also sways slightly! But apart from that, I really recommend it. By the way, it is absolutely necessary to have 1 Euro for admission!

Fantastic panoramic view and an astonishing number of "mountains" in the immediate vicinity. The turnstile at the entrance is currently broken, so you can still save the euro for the climb 😜

The entrance costs one Euro, either 2x50 or 1x1Euro. I inserted a 2 Euro coin for two but it worked only for one, so have proper coins with you.
The view is awesome and the tower is a little shaky upstairs. Definitely recommended
