    On the highest elevation of the Rauener Mountains (153.8 m above sea level) is the Steinerne Tisch and the pertaining benches. Everything was made of chipped pieces of margrave stones. Formerly called the place "The beautiful view" and even Theodor Fontane stayed here.

That's why the photo with the description of the Steinerer Tisch was placed here incorrectly. In any case, the history of ski jumping in the Rauen mountains is quite an interesting one. After all, it was dependent on sufficient snow from 1954 to 1988. In my opinion, there is actually no sign here that refers to this story.
