The Collmberg is 312 meters high. The Albert Tower on the summit is 18 meters high and was built in 1854. You have a fantastic view from up there.

Already 360 years ago, the hunting-loving Elector George I had the idea of building a lookout tower on the Collmberg, but it was not until 1851 that the construction of the Albert Tower was possible thanks to donations from many nature and local friends, and so it was laid on the top of the Collmberg Cornerstone. In April 1854 the 18 m high tower was opened for climbing.

We recommend the ascent to the Albert Tower via one of the many forest paths or the steep sky ladder, north of the Albert Tower. Mountain bikers will find great routes for their sporty tours on the Collmberg 🚵🏼‍♂️
